Color harmony is great, as usual, but what attracts me the most is the sense of very rapid movement, as if one was flying over the water.
I haven't commented much but I find your new work very strong and beautiful to look at. I think these sticks actually reside in my brown palette, but they are so strong/intense, and they favor orange for sure.

Some patrons at the art fair wondered about my palette changes since they saw me there 4 years ago, and I said that I had looked in my box, and I saw a brown pastel.Casey Klahnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08020906666248399435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826049157205598760.post-9558585663926061022011-06-08T21:09:38.129-07:002011-06-08T21:09:38.129-07:00Love the palette - my fave, orange - and the littl...Love the palette - my fave, orange - and the little sharp orange marks coming out of the dark.Jala Pfaffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01186623108399217523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826049157205598760.post-58938796488306636352011-06-08T05:34:08.976-07:002011-06-08T05:34:08.976-07:00I wondered about the title - it hasn't got &qu...I wondered about the title - it hasn't got "flow." There's something really interesting happening with these. This is my favorite to date. The colors work beautifully, the line is exciting. My favorite part is the little peach/orange slashes above the peach/orange bank area. It just sings...and brings us momentarily out of all that rain!Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05647240638644798959noreply@blogger.com
