Although it can never replace the feelings and emotions you get when you stand in front of the REAL work it is wonderful for studying details as long as you want and without any disturbance.
I have visited the Uffizii in the late 70's when visitors were still in countable numbers and I can only remember that I cried tears when I stood in front of Boticelli's "Birth of Venus" for the first time. There were other works of course that I "inhaled" but this list would be too long - LOL.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826049157205598760.post-48750238241963861772011-02-02T03:54:18.230-08:002011-02-02T03:54:18.230-08:00And long standing lines the Uffizi has!

Well, walking the standing line back we decided it would take us half a day to wait and went for coffee and cake instead. So, thanks for this link. ;-)
PaulaMindful Drawinghttp://www.mindfuldrawing.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826049157205598760.post-18914278129678986132011-02-02T03:30:52.895-08:002011-02-02T03:30:52.895-08:00Very cool, Casey.
