  1. I am absolutely enjoying the visual part of your blog. Found you thru Seth's Buried Treasure. Your blog is a treasure. I have an old wooden tool box with slide out drawers that look like this with pastels and such in it. Always love seeing supplies and how they're stored. Modigliani...my all time favorites...thanks for the postings.

  2. Thank you for making yourself known, Darlene! I'll admit I never heard of Seth Apter - is that who referred you? I am looking that up, now.

  3. I see that I once linked Mr. Apter here, back in 2008. I'm very happy that you directed me to his wonderful blog. It is a treasure trove.

  4. These are wonderful thanks for finding them. I collect old artists boxes. I use one daily at the moment for my oil paint. It has a little hinge at the side to position the lid at different angles so that a canvas can be leant against it.

  5. Hi, Jane!

I have a box by Judson's Outfitters that has the side support, and treat it like an heirloom item.

  9. I'm happy to follow your blog, Carole. Blogger told me I was over my limit of 300 blogs to follow, and I had to go in and cull dead blogs to fit in new.

Note to Blogger: your quest for glory will not prosper with a closed set of follows. Just sayin.
