Tree Study in Turquoise, #2 @ 6" x 5" Pastel Casey Klahn
The posts have been thin this week. The good news, though, is that I have been getting in the studio more, and I took a plein air trip to the coast. I am working out the paintings daily, and will post some soon.
Today, a grant proposal deadline (private fund) looms. Gotta get off the blog!
I got the grant app. sent, and then after some time my system had a bad start-up and Go Back kicked in. Yiiikes! I'd better spend some time caching files this weekend - a task I am bad at.
This laptop is 4 plus years old and never was the best.
If I can, I'll try to get a tree school up for the weekend, too. This image belongs with that series.
BTW, I got Aristide's Classic painting book when I was in Seattle. I'll be soaking up some of that asap. I was interested that she chose Wyeth's Helga series in there (an excellent choice). Also, a great portrait of AW by JWyeth is in the book.
Love these trees. Off you go to write now.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jala!
