This piece I turned sideways, partially rubbed off, and then used as a demo in Morristown. I completed it in the studio.
For some reason, I just felt like adding this video to this post today.

beautiful blend of colors
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading and commenting, Mrs. Boholst!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful "floral garden" sort of piece. Impressionist. Nice coral colors, set off by the green complements.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot to be said for doing what feels good. You said a lot of it in this post.
ReplyDeleteGood insight, Sam.
ReplyDeleteRIP Earl Scruggs! Thanks for the great video post, too.
ReplyDeleteYour painting is soft and dreamy and that coral is just right. Bravo!!
Thanks, my friend.
ReplyDeleteScruggs seemed very humble and generous to me.
this is beautiful Casey! and that music sure brings back some memories. My ex boyfriend plays the guitar like no other he is a flat pickin fool and would often play this one with friends who played mandolin and they would take turns at it. He played guitar, mandolin and fiddle. i sure miss the music. the stress not so much:P
ReplyDeletethe colors in this piece are gorgeous. It really has a nice flow to it.
Hi, Sara!
ReplyDeleteMy first memory of this song was probably from the sound track to Bonnie & Clyde!
Love both the painting and the song...the painting has a musical quality
ReplyDeleteHi Casey: When I see unnamed, Johnnny starts to brainstorm. Here are a few ideas: Banjo Pond, Unnamed and Untamed, Secret Rendezvous.
ReplyDeleteJohnnny, that last one @ the secret sounds pretty good.
ReplyDeleteCeleste, that is a very nice comment. A musical quality is much to be desired, IMHO.
Thanks!
