  1. oh oh oh. You are the brother to the artist whose 3X6'acrylic hangs in our LR (also abstract colorist water).

Sometimes your work takes my breath away. Thanks, Casey. REALLY appreciate that you share your gift with us.

  2. I remember that one, Rosemarie!

I'm making a number of Bainbridge Island images in preparation for my workshop there in August.

  6. That blue is wonderful, what is it? What pastels do you use?
I have been concentrating on painting in oils but this wonderful abstract of yours has left me thinking I would love to try some pastels.

  7. Hi, Jane!

It would be nice to convert you to a pastelist (and you would still love your oils). They say that every time an artist takes up pastels, somewhere a tiny bell is ringing. And, an angel gets her wings.

These are the strongest blues in pasteldom, and on earth, for that matter, since pastels are the most pigmented medium. Diane Townsend, Sennelier and Roche.

Thanks for the wonderful comment, and for letting me expound!

    A powerful thought, and painting.

  9. Hi, Maryann! That quote was given me by a wise mentor and master painter I know. Simple, but true.

    Thank you.

  11. Come and go of your own accord, my wonderful Romanian friend. Of course, we want you back!

BTW, I met some Romanians in Canada and I'd like to e-mail link you & them, since you share pastels as a passion.
