Ah - I get that and I was thinking the same thing about her. One portrait of Mallory I titled: Century Portrait. You are a keen observer, and I appreciate that, Jean!
The Munch idea comes later. I always wanted to do a riff on that Munch portrait; I love your analogy of the 1920s - very true.
