I can breath a little easier, since my stats went through the roof on this post. I guess the take home message for artist bloggers is don't be afraid to self promote.
Soon I will let you in on the secret of making one's photos extra large in this template. I did it for Donny Osmond, and a few other photos - all of which posts went nuclear for traffic. It is a good tool for you to know if you are seeking more readership.
I like the manner in which you tooted your own Horn. You did it gracefully and if I ever have an opportunity to toot I will recall the thoughtful way you handled this.
The last time I trusted someone else's effort to promote my art (with a press release) it never happened. If you want something done - you gotta do it yourself.
I have to say that my wife is an extraordinary photographer, isn't she? I have no idea which end of the camera the image comes out.
I had in mind our much beloved Andrew Wyeth's promotional photos.
Congratulations on your TWO awards!! Your photo and press release are impressive. Kudos.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate it, Kathy. But, of course, I am feeling shy about the self-tooting horn. Gotta do it, but it is a pain.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I noticed I lost a follower when I posted this! Gotta laugh.
That's wonderful - congratulations!
ReplyDelete10Q, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI feel like posting a vid of a guy doing an end zone ball spike. Or, a Carly Simon song I am thinking about...
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Irina.
