The Yellow House (in Arles)

Can you say,
"synergy"?

Quote:

“Oh yes! He loved yellow, did good Vincent... When the two of us were together in Arles, both of us insane, and constantly at war over beautiful colors, I adored red; where could I find a perfect vermilion?”

Thanks, Mary. I'm going to send out a mass e-mailing soon to announce this blog...still in it's "soft opening".

Hi Casey ... looks as if I could learn a lot from this blog, as i know very little about art history and art movements.

Thank you for leaving a message and link on my blog. You mentioned that you had left another comment before, but it has not appeared for moderating ... obviously got destroyed by good old Beta Blogger. I will so be glad when Beta Baby has stopped teething! I hope that you will try with a comment again sometime?

May I say that I find it difficult to see the writing on your blog against the purple colour. Maybe change the background a little? or lighten the colour of the type? Just a thought ... but it may only be my monitor that has this trouble.

Enjoying your blog very much so far.

Good luck!

So much to learn from the obvious and hidden depths of the mind of a great artist! Thank you for sharing with the world!

I guess when one's blog is new, and it is comment poor, then one will publish comments from one's own wife...
