Thanks for reading, and I'll be in bed for a few days. I'll try to post these "Best Of" reviews, and at Pastel there is a new post up about Schmincke. I hope to add Five for Friday Tips there by Friday, which is already written.
The op went fine and I'll be on narcotic pain meds for who knows how long.

Glad everything came out ok. Rest up and enjoy the meds.
Get well soon!
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. It's a nice big scar - just be thankful I'm not going to show it off!
Don't rush - enjoy the opportunity to be waited on, it's probably a rare treat for House Dad.
Very best wishes.
Thanks, Robyn.
Glad it's over. Take care of yourself!
Thanks, Meg.
You look so drawn (pardon the pun) in this photo. Rest loads and take care of yourself. hugs xxx
Lorie says the pain "mask" I have been wearing for these weeks and months is gone. That's a good sign, since my doc gave me no guarantees that this op would fix my complaints.
Thanks, Yellow.
Glad to hear that the op has gone well and that you're now recuperating.
Get well soon!
Thanks, Katherine & everyone.
Hope you are feeling better, get well soon!
bonne courage
one of the nice things about colour is that one can shut one's eyes, visualise & see something that is very beautiful (which is above & beyond pain).
Glad you are doing okay and able to post and let us know.
It is amazing how pain affects how one looks isn't it. :(
Appreciate the thoughts, folks. I'm in the part of recovery where healing is causing pain. The first couple days of sleep were nice, but that gets old. too.
Best wishes to you!
Hey Casey,
have been a bit slow to catch up but: all my best wishes for you getting better!!!
Thanks, my two German friends, Petra and Gesa.
