New School Color - Casey Klahn
Just love the exciting colour!!!
I like the idea of doing the same place over again in new light conditions.Like those giant muffins in a field Monet did. Makes me hungry just thinking about them...
Glad you see the resemblances - all mostly from the Little Hoquiam River, and then idealized. Thanks for reading, Steve. Thanks for looking in at The Colorist, Adebanji. I value your work, too.
This is beautiful, Casey. I like the yellow glow of the sky and those blues and purples in the water.
Someday (perhaps a month) I'll post the framed work, since it has a presence in its moderately large size. A full sheet of La Carte is "big" to me.Thanks, Brian. I wanted to say that the Denali paintings at your blog are very sublime. Are they from an airplane perspective? Wonderful works ( I sometimes have a big delay getting logged in at WP, so if my connection is slow, I find it hard to get a whole comment in there).
Oh yes, I love this piece! The sliver of yellow sky is terrific.
Thank you, Lisa.
Thanks for your kind words on my Denali studies, Casey. The view is from a scenic rest stop along the highway.
