System Corruption

"What Did U Say?"

The geek at the computer shop tells me that my operating system is corrupt. In the Old West, those would be fightin' words! But, in the digital era, it just means that I ought to complete a system restore. So, if I can find my (improperly filed) SR software, this will be my next move.

With August activities pressing, and Sausalito upcoming, my posts will be thin.

I leave you with the most frightening movie scene ever filmed. HAL 9000 has your back, Dave.

Oh dear Casey! Those computers really DO control us. Good luck with your corruption.

Thanks, Lor. I am going to have to put off the pc fixes for a couple of weeks or more - so maybe I ought to go non-digital? Trouble is, the thing is a good tool while traveling. Arg!

HAL has been in my nightmares since I saw 2001 -- when I was in college 30 years ago! (My husband LOVED that movie -- I didn't!) BTW, have you ever noticed that the letters H,A,L are each one letter off from I,B,M?

Bwhaaa ha haaaa!

Very scary stuff.

Thanks for reading, here, 71 Square. My pc continues to act wrong, and I have decided to reinstall the OS, if I can find it. If not, I'll have to order one from Toshiba.
