As is your way a beautiful, simple rendering of the subject.

Thank you, Bridget.

The vibrations you create with adjacent hues really brings the scene to life! I also like how you treat the interior of your forms and the relationship between them. Energetic and restful at the same time - a great balance!

You say so much with so little. Very eloquent.

I like the subtlety here!
What's the "camera" part for?
Got the book today--thx. It looks complicated...but I'll take a better look at it tomorrow.

Love the way the purples and violets weave through the painting and make harmony.

This is gratifying to get a nice response. I got tired of making lots of art, but not having pictures to post. Lately, I have been experimenting with studio daylight and using my good point and shoot camera on the tripod. This is one of those. Not as well lit, or as well focused as the Nikon D80, but still O.K. I will replace those done this way with the formal shots when we get them taken.

Kathy, this was an interior that spoke because it was a bleed through. I wiped away an old image, and this became the response.

Sam, eloquent is a nice word. I'm reading an article on voice and art - wonderful stuff.

Celeste, coming from you, this is a compliment. Your work is beautiful, too.

Hi, Ruth. Thank you and nice to see you here.

Jala, see above regarding the photo thing. You are a photographer and can probably see the focus issues.

Loriann. Thanks for taking the time to read during your busy week! I have some delicious purples, especially some new Girault gray-violets and now I've made some of my own gray-violets. Think I'll make some more soon.

I love a deceptivly simple work where the mastery is so complete yet so subtle that the subject takes center stage. Very impressive Casey!

Beautiful work, Casey - I'm very much drawn to all of your prairie series pastels, with their balance of neutrals and more intense color and the simple, effective compositions you've utilized.

I appreciate it, Brian. The secret to all of my art is 95% composition.
