Or, Maybe This Draws A Picture Of My PC

This reminds me of when I was a kid and Dad would be on the roof, moving the antenna around to improve reception. One of us kids would be in front of the tv, another near the fireplace. Dad would holler down the chimney, "Is this better?" and we'd play Operator and get the word back to him. Lots of fuzz on the screen in those days. Maybe this is an opportunity for you to look to the past? Or increase your vocabulary for imprecations?

Yeah, it crossed my mind to go out there and monkey with the dish. Happily, I marked the angle on the support arm when it went in, and that's unchanged.

Imprecatory language is my specialty - my mother could outdo a drill sergeant, you know.

These posts are some fun, though.

I was going to suggest that you try throwing the pro forma ball of tin foil into your dish. But my rates are exhorbitant.

I prefer that on my hat.

I like these snowy graphics. I guess you are still painting...even though we don't see any painting posts? Maybe you are chilaxing in front of some nice afternoon tv?

I have a big backlog of paintings waiting to be photographed, and right now I'm doing a detailed study of a Degas ballerina image. Much, much fun.

What isn't much fun is my internet comes and goes at will. Yesterday I had almost none. We're looking at solutions - change dishes, or go with a ground based transmitter, or something.

I'm "filling" the blog with fun/funny posts whenever I can get a feed. Maybe I'll do some re-posts from 2007 so at least they're on topic.

Keep up the happy vibes.
