Love the purples and lavenders in contrast with the earthy browns (you always marry these so well), and the panoramic format is perfect for this painting.

Thanks for looking, Sonya. Since it was more of a landscape, I thought I'd go moooore landscape.

I've been meaning to post that I really love this one. I have become drawn to this horizontal composition myself. This is great as usual. You have such a wonderful sense of color.

Thanks, Debora. In spite of being a "realistic" piece, it has a lot of abstraction.

Thank you, Jala!

Beautiful, Casey, and the long horizontal format works well here. Very nice photos from the cemetery yesterday as well. Some of my first outdoor sketching was done in a cemetery on the grounds of my college campus and it was a very peaceful place to draw.

Thanks, Brian. Your encouragement to go paint at the cemetery is good, too. I'm gonna do it, and I also have another location that's calling me. I hope I'll have enough time!
