New School Color - Casey Klahn
I love this. Those deep, bright blues against the pale earthy neutrals - a Casey signature! I know I've said this before, but I really admire your ability to toss out local color in your work and go with these scintillating palette combinations.
Hi Casey - gorgeous painting!
Have I seen this before, or is it just so right that it simply must exist? Like the sun.
the contrast is so exciting!
Beautiful blues and creams. Its a restful piece. Your choice of palette always leaves me inspired.
I am always fascinated by the glowing violet of distant hills at certain times of day. You've captured that beautifully with this painting! It makes me want to look and look.
Thank you, Sonya, Donna, Sam, Celeste, Jeanette and Katherine.
Gorgeous colours and a very exciting composition. Love it!
Beautiful! I need to ask (so I can learn) what color paper did you use? a putty color? purple and yellow together are one of my favorite combinations of all time.
Robin, Lisa and Stan - my deepest thanks.Robin, the paper is a brown Sennie La Carte. It is visible in the upper left.
Meaning of creation: The act of creating. The fact or state of having been created. The act of investing with a new office or title.I can read these definitions in every dictionary, but I still can't understand how to do this...See this blog, I think you'll like it: Drawings Paintings Prints, this person shows the stages of the painting but I still don't know how to use it so I ca use it at mine...Will come back for sure.
Hi, Baba. I enjoyed looking at Catherine's blog. Will you start a blog, too? Thanks for reading.
The simplicity of this composition and color palette is wonderful. I am learning so much from you.
