Casey Klahn said...: Thank you, Jeanette. It was unexpected for me! I did suffer hard this year after getting this award last year. I wanted to make sure I could paint at that level. Color me relieved to be painting my personal best.

Thank you, Kvan and Deborah. I failed on the photos - never my strong suit. I will dig for more, and post even the poor ones just for you.

10Q, Brian. I bought that tux many years ago for an art museum show I used to do. I guess this is the fifth time I've worn it in the artist persona...it is fun to do.

Hi, Nika. I did paint my heart out these past two years. I will share some thoughts about it on the blog.

Diane, I remember your beach place from your posts. What a kind invite. My kids have already started school, so I will be up tomorrow morn before the sun, and try to get home one day shorter than I drove down. Perhaps some day - do you ever get there in the summer?
