This guy would jump on the internet so fast it would make your head spin. He is a marketing genius.
I'm taking a long course on the internet about marketing one's art. It is challenging me to re-visit my marketing materials and is generally a lot of fun. Good thing I like noodling around on Photoshop. Here is my new logo.
My new business card is posted below. When I get them printed, I will be glad to mail you one.

Love the new card Casey.
I'm assuming you have your contact info on the back?
I'm ready for a new one too. Thanks for the push.
This is interesting to me, Casey, and I'll be interested to learn what you're learning. I recently decided to try selling my Clark Island paintings (representational) on DailyPaintWorks.com just to see what would happen. I'm keeping the prices low and allowing a few works to go into their auction option as well. This is just an experiment. I suspect that brick and mortar galleries are closing at a rapid rate because the internet has become a viable competitor for marketing art. Please post your ideas about this when you have time.
Kathy, I'll be looking for your work at DPW. I found my own work wrong-priced for DPW, but have just found some new ideas and am back at it. DPW is wonderfully organized, and once you are on there, after I think a few months, it becomes viable. We can stay in touch.
Yes, the back is the same as my old card with the info - I find images work better big and on the front, with info on the back my best options. Hey, thanks for looking! Where do you get your cards?
Casey - if you get a moment, please send me an email about your experience with DPW. I'm a newbie and haven't figured it out! Could really use some tips.
great looking card...and I agree about the guy in the photo. (He would have loved the internet). I will be following along with what you find out via the Art Coach. I confess, I have her book...I've read it... but I need a refresher. There is always so much stuff to do! If we don't do it ourselves, however, it will not get done! Thanks for the reminder. Love the card. Vistaprint?
Thanks, Celeste. I'll be using ADG in Lynnwood.
Julie Friedman messages us: "Looks great, Casey!"
Thanks, Julie!
Looks really good and beautiful and I am looking forward to MY copy of your new card - I'll send you mine then....
I will make sure to get you one, Karin!
