Electricity & An Artist Interview

New electrical panel to the new studio.

There is now electricity to my new studio! Woo Hoo! Look out, art world! More on my new studio project soon.

If you don't read my other blog, Pastel, you haven't heard about the interview I did for Giselle Borzov at Art Now. There is much new to read there about Colorist art that you haven't read at this blog, so pull up a cup of tea and enjoy reading. The collage above is a collection of my art that Giselle curated for her article. Interesting what another person will choose to represent one's body of work. I am pleased.

The very little that I have done, I used a hundred foot extension cord to reach from the garage to the new studio.

We were racing to get this done, as my paper and books were out there in the cold and damp. So far, everything looks fine, but more work needs to be done. (understatement)

These things can become life landmarks! I'm currently waiting for the painters to finish in my studio - before that I had to get out while the window was put in - before that the lighting. Once I get back in I'm not budging again. You've had a very long wait Casey, I'm delighted for you and looking forward to the great creative spurt that's bound to follow.

Thanks, Robyn. My studio will be a beautiful place, and I'm getting out there this afternoon to tinker with the floor boards.
