I like both Dylan and Cash, but together? I've always thought this track was dire and that His Bobness was best on his own! On the other hand I love the river painting.
I feared a little that the young readers would roll their eyes at these two dinosaurs of the music arts. Then I saw the viewer stats on anything Bob Dylan at You Tube. Try 1.6 million for LARS.
What I love the most about Dylan is that I can *sing* along with him, and it does no damage to his sound at all.
Glad for the music crit., and especially glad you love this painting, Harry.
BTW, I am getting especially old, rough, perhaps even dire, tracks to theme my River Series to frame them the way I see river themes. They are timeless and yet represent time. Melancholy, and an open narrative.
Fill your own feelings in the blanks when you look at these river paintings.

your paintings are beautiful....
Beautiful! Understated. Economical. Like a perfect poem. Now I will go and look at your other river paintings!
Thank you, Katherine and David.
